Yay

I got a job!

I went in to pick up my mom's puppy from the vet yesterday, and asked if they were looking for any help (of course, I explained I would only be here for eight more weeks). My vet's wife, who runs the business, told me they had just hired two new people. Sad.

So this morning, I got a call from her saying that she had been thinking about what I asked, and she wants me to start Tuesday!

I can't even tell you how excited I am - at age 16, this is where I worked for the first time. This has been our family vet for, dang, I don't even know how long. In fact, my mom still gets my employee discount every once in a while (and I haven't worked there for ten years!).

I get paid to hang out with dogs all day. What more could a girl ask for?
