Reason Number 8,734 I Hate Living in Germany

Having my dog fixed is going to cost me 200 euros (that's like 18, 000 DOLLARS)

Ok, so I'm being melodramatic, but seriously.

The same vet charged me 80 euros to amputate her foot. How does that make ANY sense? Isn't bone sawing more complicated than pulling out a uterus?

I'm in the wrong freakin' business.

Oh I needed a laugh right now and you gave me one...how funny! So MANY times in Germany, I confronted those same types of situations...why, why, why?? WHY did it cost $175 for a new tire (in Germany) when I just got one here for $60? WHY did I have to wait a week before someone could come over and fix my broken stove?...oh I understand! Keep your head up!

Wow, I didn't know it was that expensive. Thankfully Jasper was fixed before arrival.

Nicole...thanks for understanding :)

Debey...I have no idea how much that would be! Luckily, I found homes for all the pups...so I didn't have to find this one out...It's so good to hear from you!

Vonn...you would have lucked out here anyway...fixing Winston is only going to cost 85 euros (so that's what, 10,000 DOLLARS?). It's like this in the states...I think the female surgery is more complicated than the male...so it's typically more expensive to get females fixed...But it's usually like a ten dollar difference or something. Sigh.

Shop around if you can. Remember I got quoted three different prices at three different places. Maybe there's a cheaper one?

See you this afternoon...
