Copy Cat

Heidi and Nicole have both done this, and as much as I don't "know" them, I still had a memory of each of them. So I'm looking forward to memories that you might have of me. Fun times:

Leave one memory of you and I together as a comment on my page--it doesn't matter if I know you a little or a lot, anything you remember! Don't write to me, leave a comment. Next, repost this bulletin and see how many people leave a memory about you.....I hope you'll play along :)

I remember "meeting" you at your yard sale!!! This, of course, was after I'd been hearing about Sarah's friend, Erin, for quite some time...

I didn't put it all together until much later. :)

My memory of you will sound so much like yours of me! I remember always coming through "your line" at the commissary and being happy that you had a smile for me...:)
I was so surprised when, after reading your blog for a while, I finally saw a picture of you and realized who you were! I agree...it's funny how I'm "getting to know" all of you "online" when we once all lived in such a small community together but never knew each other ;)

I have lots of memories of you, all of which made my visits to Vilseck very nice...Helping me when Sarah was sick, going to Amberg and the cool antique shop, going out to dinner at the restaurant that had the old, old Maltese at the end of my first visit, seeing your apartment and how cute you had it decorated, seeing your cute puppy at your work, etc., etc. So glad you are in Sarah's life and have thus touched my life.
Love,
Nancy

Where would you want me to begin? We could go way back and let folks know that you called monkeys...nonnies. Couldn't get you to say monkeys to save a life.

How about the time you and the girl upstairs in Berlin getting caught with your hand in the cookie jar at school? It was kindergarten and Miss Henson caught you getting into her snack stash. You were quite humbled.

You did save your sister's life when you pulled her out of that dirty pond. I'll never forget that!!

Let's talk about Rascal, Jackson and Cooper whom we still have. All brought home by you!! You sure owe me alot for the food bill.

And wasn't it you that brought home the pair of gerbils from school that the teacher said they were the same sex and we ended up having three litters before we figured out that you need to split the parents up because they "do it" before you can blink an eye.

And while we are on animal stories. Remember when you and I bought Meg two guinea pigs for her birthday and they both ended up being pregnant and having a litter. Weren't we lucky.

I remember when you called Jon and I retarded and meant it.

But most of all I remember I have the sweetest most loving daughter in the whole wide world who is talented, creative, smart, and so totally outragous!!!!!

Love, Mom

I remember the first time i ''found'' your blog. A few days after gunnar's funeral, I think, but the weeks from 13jan-valentines day 2005 are a very big blur. you and Sarah...i go back into the archives, from time to time, i guess it's a ''comfort'' zone.................................
someday, my friend, our paths will cross........until then, i'll send an email, or two, along the way....hoping you see the same humor, that i do.....love ya, Erin!
