I've been avoiding everyone's emails lately, partially because I haven't had the answer to the question everyone wants to know: Where are you getting stationed and when?
I freakin' hated that question until today. We'll be residents of Texas as of November. Yay!

Whoa! I was just down at Ft. Hood last weekend to see D. That place is HUGE! 2 PX's, 2 Commissaries and umpteen shopette's. It took me 30 min. just to get OFF base and the lodge is next to the gate. On the upside, everything you will need or want is probably there. Good luck!

I love Texas. It will be hot at Ft. Hood. I have fond memories of Texas when I was single and married. It really where our kids spent the early years of their lives. I may have to come visit you when I go to Okla.

We've been at Hood for over three years...get ready to stick around for a while! It's not so bad once you get used to it, but then I am from Texas and after college I married my soldier and then had him take me far far away! And here we are back again....we....should just be me and the kids as he is deployed again! Enjoy the move!
